After it sat in the back of the shop for a year, I finally spent a couple days learning to program the pick and place machine. This video shows it putting parts on a panel of ten solar charge regulator PC boards that I recently designed. Next up is control boards for the Zilla motor controllers.
It seems you tube and quicktime don't get along on some things like sound. At least it's getting better, this movie has sound even if it is full of pops and clicks.

  • Sweet video, it's working kinda slowly though? I was looking over some computer PCBs and was fascinated by the tightly packed components on the board. Going at that rate it would take almost a whole day to crank out one graphics card! Still very cool.

I'd love to see what was on that monitor though... ;)

  • Why in my day we did it by hand till the cows came home! and we were grateful...
