Crash Bandicoot 2 - Mud Glitch

This is a glitch I came across years ago, back when the game (Crash Bandicoot 2) was first released. Purely accidental, but it's been known to me for a long while and I've not really seen it anywhere else online.

My friend Smaz, who helps to run the Crash forum, suggested I submit it. And well ...here it is!
The glitch and a rough idea of how to achieve it. Since for years I hadn't known how to, though now it seems to be something quite simple.

Woo, I succeeded ^_^ I realized I didn't activate the bonus drop, that's why it didn't work for me in the beginning. Great glitch you've found there.
