Jimi was ODing but I believe his life could have been saved if the girl called emergency before she flushed down all the drugs. She was worried about getting busted which could have been a factor to his death. I wasn't there but that's the story I heard. If true, I believe it is, it saddens me most of all that his death could have been prevented.

I live a mile from where Jimi's buried. He's at Greenwood Memorial in Renton, WA and they just built a new gazebo-styled monument for him. Supposedly, 50,000 people visit his grave site each year including the likes of Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy and the late Stevie Ray Vaughan. Stevie Ray Vaughan had visited Jimi several months before he died, even played one of his guitars. What a talent, Jimi and Kurt Cobain are two local Seattle stars whose fire was snuffed way too early. Thnx for the post!
