A composition based on a Ukranian folk melody by Roman Turovsky-Savchuk, in a setting for baroque lute. Seems to me to have a striking resemblance to Jewish melodies such as Hee'nai ma-tov oo-ma-naim, shevet achim gam yachad' (How nice for brothers to sit together). Performed on a Rutherford 13 course lute by Daniel Shoskes. Two world premieres: this piece on the baroque lute and my intermediate distance reading glasses (sucks to get old)
