@MissDJbeats There are a lot of commercials that we can see on french TV but that are not french, but made by other countries and then translated. Personally I'm french and I've never seen this one, but after all why not.

This is originally a FRENCH commercial. The words at the bottom arent from the ORIGINAL video. Therefore it misleads alot of people to think it "isn't". But believe me, it is a french commercial. I showed this to my French professor (im majoring in French Language Studies) & he told me he saw this on Tv when he lived in France.

You mean people in other countries wouldn't understand that the F word is a vulgar word? I guess if they didn't understand English they wouldn't. So, if you went to a country in Europe and went up to a person that didn't understand a word of English and said F You to them they wouldn't know that you insulted them thus they wouldn't react to it they would just not understand what you said to them?

Dutch people aspire to speak English at a high level of fluency. Many have an English vocabulary much larger than the average anglophone. That's the kind of language training that's being advertised here. Essentially, everyone in the Netherlands would understand these lyrics. The ad is funny because it plays with the notion that some don't.
