@teejate the same feeling I had, when I was younger (13) and wached for the first time Le Dernier Metro.
Gerard's acting was something I couldn't express in words. I was flowting with love for a week or so, It was love at first sight. and ever since he is my favorite actor!

When I was a young actor a director I was working with INSISTED that I see a movie called "Going Places" that was running in a small independent movie house. I went and it changed everything that I thought about acting. Seeing Depardieu was like the first entrance of Brando in Streetcar Named Desire. Blew my mind.
My favorite actor ever.

This is my fav movie. My fav scene is the piano, the 2nd song, when he throws his head back, Damn I think Gérard Depardieu is very sexy.
