Back in the clinic Ellie came to see Dr Christian about her prominent Adam's apple which had been playing on her mind since puberty. Dr Christian stressed that all women have an Adam's apple but that Ellie's was particularly prominent, which is a trait associated with men. Dr Christian informs Ellie that there is surgery that could reduce her Adam's apple though it would scar, so sends her away to think about it. Having seen a specialist, Ellie eventually decided to undergo surgery to reduce the amount of cartilage which caused the pronounced Adam's apple. A week after surgery, Ellie came to see Dr Christian who removed the stitching to reveal that the lump had almost vanished.
