I did plan on using this for commentary by the way, and i bet it would work fine since that's what you used it for

I'm a newb when it comes to microphones and the overall differences between mics like this and the ones on a gaming headset or a bluetooth, so I'd just like to know how much background noise this type of thing records. If someone walked into the room and started talking, would it be loud in the recording?

Any latency issues with the mic?

is this Jonathan from tldToday? =o
With a windscreen and a pop filter, I guarantee the AT2020 will surpass the Yeti. It's just sooooo damn sensitive it picks up bits that make it sound worse. However, for just straight out of the box usage without requiring add-ons, the Yeti's feature rich package and quality for the same price are worth it for the average podcaster :)
Besides, if one wanted to really get any better, they'd need a preamp and an XLR mic.... perhaps the AT2035 or 2050? ;P

@Azaelius I would tend to agree with you, gotta love Yeti's features and for the average user it packs quite a punch, the AT2020 did seem a litter crisper and true though :)
I'm interested to get my hands on the Yeti Pro to see how it compares
