With the congressional elections coming up in November, the ultra conservative movement is more visible than ever. Some display outright hostility for their president. But what irks these activists most is public spending by a president they insist is a communist.

The economy must grow gracefully, like a tree. A tree follows the golden ratio as it grows horizontally and vertically towards the sun.

The American economy must balance horizontal (tradition) with vertical (new growth).

For example, traditional small businesses must be maintained as new industries surface.

To suppress new growth (ultra conservative) is to create a bonsai stunted economy. To dump tradition in favor of the new (ultra liberal) creates a top-heavy digger pine economy that topples.

@koolio669 You need a new accountants.... Obama has just extended the Bush tax cuts as the Repubs wanted him to. Obama inherited the worst economy since the Great Depression thanks to Bush tax and SPEND LIKE A DRUNKING AIR NATIONAL GUARD NO SHOW policies. The economy is turning. The goverment has so far made $10B in profits on their divestiture of equity from TARP and the Auto Bailouts, and saved countless jobs. Two generations of American's will be paying for Bush's Wars.

Obama has increased taxes on the working class, not just the rich. In todays economy, if you may 180,000+ annually. (This combines you and your spouses income) you are taxxed for 40% of every dollar. We need to get some more Repub's in the House of Rep's to fix all of Obama's issues and to keep him in check.
