Amazing Entertainer! I just got in from his concert with Edgar Cruz at the UCO Jazz Lab and all I can say is WOW.

I agree that MK's talent would suffer at the demands of a band, or even a drummer, because he is so impromptu that another person would throw him off or limit his creativity. As a one-man show, he is limitless to his own style and imagination, and all of his incredible notes may swarm the mind as a single expression devoid of another's characteristics. Michael IS a one-man band, and that has gotten him where he is today -- in the hearts, minds, and souls of music lovers everywhere.

Performed at my school today near Dayton in Ohio, he was sick just making stuff up on the spot. Also, really liked how he got the crowd in it......good singer as well.

I've seen him in Lafayette Brewing Company, he's awesome with the harmonica kid too.

thanks for the advice... I just did. He was at UT Dallas this past Friday. Freaking good is just right!
WOW
I agree, My fav album he did is the one that's the most stripped down, it also is the one with Sarah. I'm all for looping but Mr Kelsey needs to spend less time fiddling with the electronics and form a real band. Even if it is just him and a drummer.

I've seen him play with a full band, it really limits him. I think he's much better by himself. However, the electronics can be a big distraction sometimes. My favorite show of his was one where he wasn't trying to show off, he just got up there and played his heart out.
