Colorado Personal Injury Accident and Trial Lawyer D.J. Banovitz discusses a question he is often asked, "How much is my accident case worth?"
It's a normal, natural action to ask a lawyer how much your case would be worth. But the lawyer who answers you with a number is someone you need to walk away from. No skilled and competent lawyer can tell you how much your case is worth without even knowing all the facts. Lawyers need to know the extent of your medical bills, injuries, your lost wages, and many other facts to help determine this. To tell you any earlier is just unfair. We've also heard the phrase "just take your medical bills and multiply by 3". This is not correct, either. Imagine someone who lost an eye and their medical bills are $5,000 compared to someone who has knee surgery and it cost $30,000. Obviously the person who loses vision is going to have a case worth far more than the knee, so the multiply by 3 phrase isn't helpful in this situation. Everyone wants to know what the value of their case is and we're here to help. Watch the video now to learn more.
