The government missed the chance to have some sort of control when they flat out banned Mephedrone last year.Instead they listened to cleverly placed articles-mostly likely funded by drink companies in the press and on the news linking it to death after death. Once the dust had settled,it turns out that only 1 death can be directly linked to Mephedrone.Compare that to the figures for alcohol related deaths and it's clear which is the real killer drug!!

They say junkies are switching from heroin to the stuff that is available in the Head Shops. Any time I have been in the hospital the place is full of junkies. They are using services that I pay for with my tax and they make zero contribution. If they are using goods available in a Head Shop then they are at least contributing to the tax system! We are losing the 'War on Drugs', can we not just legislate these places instead of putting money back into gun buying gangs pockets?
