Just testing out my new camcorder when piston No 4 melted :(
I was driving a bit hard but nothing to illegal...
The small "thud" at 3:15 is when the piston gave up on me.
While driving home the engine dumped roughly 2 liters of oil trough the hole in the piston and out
trough the dumpvalve...

  • mines running 365 at 0.9 bar. Hope mine doesnt melt!!.....I would have a guess that your ecu let you down?

    Thats not what was happening you're wrong sausage.

    It's simply excessive blowby blowing oil into your EGR system. A cracked piston or broken rings do it too. Ask my nana, she drives hard!
