The proposition was struck down.
As to my position, it is simple. The Bible says quite clearly "you shall not lie with a man as with a woman". Same prohibition as for murder or theft.
You can do one of two things with that. If the Bible really is the word of God, then homosexuality is prohibited and wrong. If God is not real, or the Bible is just foolishness, then do whatever you like.
For me, it is a matter of principles, and I will stand on mine.

Ya know only 50 years ago blacks were not considered equal human beings and ya also know that 100 years ago woman didn't have the right to vote or that 150 years ago children were considered cheap labor for the coalmines of Great Britain? But because idiots run the world today they now have human rights! How dare they!!! I blame education for this decadence... Middle Ages must have been a ball!
