Part 49 - Chapter 2, Stanza 24. http://www.crystalclarity.com/product.php?code=BEBPB The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita Explained by Paramhansa Yogananda as remembered by his disciple, Swami Kriyananda. This book shares the profound insights of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi, as remembered by one of his few remaining direct disciples, Swami Kriyananda.

This revelation of India's best-loved scripture approaches it from an entirely fresh perspective, showing its deep allegorical meaning and also its down-to-earth practicality. The themes presented are universal: how to achieve victory in life in union with the divine; how to prepare for life's "final exam," death, and what happens afterward; how to triumph over all pain and suffering.

Swami Kriyananda worked with Paramhansa Yogananda in 1950 while the Master completed his commentary of the Bhagavad Gita. At that time Yogananda commissioned him to disseminate his teachings world-wide. Kriyananda has in his lifetime lectured, taught, and written over one hundred books based on Yogananda's teachings.

The Essence of the Bhagavad Gita is available from Crystal Clarity Publishers.

  • @TheTheKRIT yup. that much i can buy in to.

  • @qwyzl the wolrd is what you make it and it I mean that simply like this. If someone you love dies, you can sit there and weep because they are gone forever or you can respect the process of life and realize that they are not suffering anymore. Even if there is nothing after this life you will still be with them. It's all what you make life.

  • @qwyzl of course the world is real! Thats the thing no one is saying fuck the world we can use our mind to alter reality no you can't. But reality is an illusion, created by your brain. Do DMT or magic mushrooms, you will INSTANTLY realize that its possible that are brain is creating everything. When you to your these you realize that your at the mercy of your mind.

  • @TheTheKRIT malarkey. the world I S real.

  • @qwyzl Your mind needs you to consume materials to remain in a material world. If your body couldn't sense matter or interact with matter there would be no cliff to fall off of. Of course there are laws to this reality but the mind is whats creating it. YOu can throw a baseball at my head and it will hurt me, but only because we are the same species interacting with matter and energy the same way. THe brain creates our reality, meaning it creates the laws, it confines consciousness.

  • @GBJ83 Things hurt because of our senses, if you get hit with something in a dream it still feels like it hurts, yet your not even in an actual body. Just because you can throw a baseball at my head and make me feel pain doesnt mean that the mind is creating the illusion of reality. We are all the same species we all interact with matter and energy the same basic way. There are laws to this reality but they are created by our senses

  • @GBJ83 i reached a state like that when i took mushrooms, i was aware of literally everything at once, instead of my whole life thinking in a line and only being aware of a few things at a time, when youre aware of everything at once the truth is very simple how it all fits together. i was literally in heaven, but i knew i wouldnt understand when the shrooms wore off. when i came down i tried so hard to understand that experience, watching things like this, but never got to that again :)

  • believe beliefs

  • I beleive all beleifs are illusion

  • Time and space are creations yes. And God is nowhere, nothing, but boundless. And perfect consciousness, which he gave to all living things too. Atman/buddhanature/Aristolean thought-process/Jesus lifeforce/Jewish and Islamic ruach/ruh (breath of life) Etc etc. Peace, namaste, the best of greetings.
