Plastic Addict 08: Titanium Optimal Optimus

Once upon a time collectors demanded diecast toys so much, Hasbro gave it to them, and Transformers Titanium was born... nobody has asked for diecast since, as one toy seemed to be worse than the one that came before. Today we feature a "prime" example of the sad little series, Optimal Optimus, the first of many for the series I'm sure.

The large Optimal Optimus had a beast mode. It had the giant gorilla head xD

If it was not for the Autobot symbol, you could all most have him as Megatron near the end of the Beast Machines. Since there's only 3 modes, that's what it looks like to me.

@mcmetolhead It wasn't that simple. Beast Wars was a 90's CGI show; the technology of the time meant that the number of characters they could create and the number they could have was limited. Notice how they killed off Terrorsaur and Scorponok before introducing Silverbolt and Quickstrike, or Tigatron and Airazor before bringing out Rampage.

@Witchenboy13 Not really. You could say it represents Megatron, but it doesn't SAY that. The bio is Optimus, the box says Optimus, the face is Optimus, and the only reason anyone thinks he isn't is because they were too lazy to make him a proper munkytruk.
