Android Beam: Demo & Walkthrough

Android Beam is a very impressive feature of Android 4.0 that hasn't gotten much publicity or talk. If iOS had this feature everyone would be going crazy about it so I want to remind everyone of Android Beam's existence. Let's make this feature more mainstream!

@bongky18 Think about it though. If you and your friends have nfc capable phones with ics (basically every high to mid end phone coming out starting this year), would you spend 5 mins typing a long url or finding a specific location when you just bump it and its done? I was a skeptic, but its really convenient once you use it.

Yes but nexus is a phone. It always has internet connection so it really doesn't matter if it needs internet or not. If you mean in downloading the application yes it needs internet, but every (MOST) phones have internet. It is also useable by Bluetooth. Cool feature though.
