Read this description. No, you really need to read this before you ask a Question already answered for the millionth time. The most common questions are retrived at the bottom of this. Ignore at your own risk!
Anyway, when you finish the game, it unlocks a secret world 9. Before heading off to it, I decided to do quite a few things first. See, beating the game causes all the Mushroom Houses you used to respawn once. I decide to make good use of all the Red and Gold Houses. I take a few green, even though I already have 99 Lives.
Red Mushroom Houses has the panels arranged 6 different ways for each World. Among those 6 boards, 1 is randomly chosen each time you enter a Red Mushroom House in that world. However, the 6 different boards share common panels in the same spot. So, if you can use the safe panels to determine which board the game has selected, then you can get all 7 pairs of item panels very simple. GameFAQs has a PNG you may use, though you can also mark them down if you wanted.
I did this a lot in the video. I cut this video a boatload of times and condensed an hour's worth of item-collecting into about eleven minutes. Forget most of the Annotations that appear the first time I go into a red mushroom house. I'm too lazy to do whatever I was trying to do there.
In this video, I also make use of the Cannons that I unlocked the first time through the game. If you played New Super Mario Bros. on the DS, you know that these are the "warps" of this game and they will blast you to the world number shown on the base of the Cannon, regardless of weather you beat the boss or not. These do count towards completion, so be sure to use them, even if you already cleared the World it blasts you to. Each cannon was unlocked by finding the secondary path in the level next to it. Remember, next to the cannon.
I use quite a number of Starmans, save a few Toads and... lost some lives, but I did a lot. I went jump jump-cut crazy at 10:00 because there was still a lot to cover, but I think it's all good. I'll be starting up World 9 next time, so enjoy this for now.
Note: World 4's cannon being fired was missed. You will see that in the next video
Note 2: Mario's Hat is removed when you have 99 lives. Mario only.
Note 3: I see that a lot people either don't read the description, or refuse to do so. Because of that, many people keep asking how I know where the panels all are. Have a look at these:

Map of all Panel sets for each world

Basically, you can find out which "set" a Mushroom House picks out of 8 possibilities by always hitting "Safe" panels first, then using a few guesses to find a matching pattern. Once you have found the matching set, you hit all panels except the Bowser Heads.
Note 4: Next person to ask me how I recorded this will be directed to my channel. I have this information listed in my channel page for a reason.
(no offense)

@AlexRedShock I really don't know. I've been wondering why myself for the longest time, compared to the other videos on the playlist. A chunk of the views came from some video called "New Super Mario Bros. Wii - Hidden Glitch!". Another chunk from mobile devices.
Well, not that it matters, I suppose.
