  • I've seen ideas for combining MHD with both a gas turbine (brayton) cycle and finally a steam (Rankin) cycle. The total conversion efficiency was claimed to be up to 70%. The MHD first stage was said to be around 17% IIRC.

  • Youre a genius sir!! my hat is off to you...... I thought of the same idea but using hydrogen and oxygen gas created from water which is subjected to a magnetic feild which ionizes and charge seperates the gas making it conductive then further electromagnets on the gas ring accelerate the conductive plasma past our collector windings this increases the strength of our hydrogen after its electron removal plus the power generation... amazing work my freind
