I glued the guitar pick onto my nails before coz i couldnt hold it properly.The problem is that it took me a week to remove it.Yes,i used superglue.
BTW,i was a kid when i did that :)

oh man. the pick keeps sliding sideways for me. like the tip turns towards my pointer finger at the edge of my nails. any suggestions?

OMG! thank you! i already knew a bunch of strum patterns and chords, but I couldn't strum fast or accurately, now I totally can thanks man! <3

when i hold it the first way my fingers keep touching the strings

I tilt the pick the other way when I play. it is still between my thumb and my index finger. I've been playing guitar for 2 years now. I try this out though maybe it will help.

What if the head of your pointer finger is too long and hits the strings before your pick can even hit the string? Because my pointer finger stretches out farther than the pick when I do it this way.
