Freedom Kayaks are adaptive kayaks that are made for someone with a challenge but not limited too. Freedoms unique patent pending retractable sponsons are engineered (molded) into the kayak to give the atmosphere of just another kayak in the water and these adaptations do not hinder the true kayaking experience in performance and function.

Freedoms mission simply put, is 100% independence in the water, giving the paddler the option to ask for a hand in re-entering his/her kayak not requiring it. In the past to re-entry ones kayak you need in some capacity the use of you legs, that is just that in the past.

Freedom Hawk is a different company. Eric Mueller is president and founder of Freedom Kayaks. I don't think he has a website. He lives on Harsens Island in Michigan.

Are Freedom Kayaks and Freedom Hawk kayaks a connected company? I suppose a bit of Google research would tell me but others may be interested. I love the concept of this SIK
