with win7 you would become much better performance :)
exept that the HD 4870 X2 is a graphics card that I want to buy :D
I know there are some new Radeons on the market like the 5series and 6series but the 4870 X2 still one of the graphics card who you have a great performance :)

You will get alot of more FPS if you buy an Intel Core i5 or an i7! and even if you buy an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550! :)

Your computer is very similar to mine except that you have a core 2 duo, and i have an athlon ii x2 (overclocked = similar performance) and i have a 4870 (not x2), but we both have vista ultimate 64bit and 4gb of ddr2 800mhz
