And THAT'S exactly why Victoria Wood remains at the top of her game! She can take a supposed comic episode & add a soupcon of poignancy & you have something absolutely top of the range! We all know there are offspring like the daughter in this,and we all know there are 'care homes' like this with their 'couldn't- care- less' managers.But VW made everything ok when 'Bill' makes a break for freedom! Superb!
