When I first saw her teach those little kids about ' blue eye and brown eye ' to the kids I got all angry at her. I was like..what the heck is wrong with her talking crap like that! Then I realized it was just an exercise. She also appeared on Oprah back in '92. She has one heck of a good acting skill.

When I first saw the video with the "blue eyes" I was like "what a nasty fucking bitch" without realizing who she was or that it was only a test which I found out after watching few videos.. God Bless her.. really..

I agree with her one analogy she gave many years ago - The United States should not be a "melting pot" of culture, but more like a "salad". The lettuce stays the lettuce, the croutons and tomatoes stay croutons and tomatoes, but together, they make such a delicious dish. (For those who do not understand this simple metaphor, everyone should keep their culture AND learn to get along and create understanding.)

@daveyhavok08 This dear lady goes through all sorts of "hell" to teach this as well. She claimed in one interview that after each of the intensive trainings, she ends up with severe headaches for a few days after. It IS difficult to teach basic concepts and skills, let alone such a complex issue like discrimination.

I commend her most highly, one educator to another.

I agree. I wish i could end this too. But i should point out one thing. She artificially created two groups. And she is pinning them against eachother purposefully. She is trying to expose racism by saying that the groups have different eye colors. BUT, the groups started to hate each other because SHE told them that one group was better. initially, the two groups didn't have a problem with each other. This experiment doesn't show that groups naturally hate each other bcause she created the hate

I don't agree with you.

I think that what she is teaching them is seen visibly.

It's nothing to sit there for hours trying to comprehend of what she is doing.

She is telling some of them that they are bad and unworthy while she tells others that they are the best.

She is showing them how black people and miniorities feel on a daily basis.

That is the ONLY thing she is teaching them.

I'm saying that it is important for each group to try to meet its interest. What interest? The interest to increase its power, influence, numbers, resources, and culture. What this bitch is doing is making white children, the futre of the white group, to feel guilty about their natural inclinations to support the interests of their own group. She wants to make them think that being part of a group is a bad thing. But that is wrong. In this world, being in a group is good

I agree, you don't have to hate others/ but i don't think there is anything wrong with supporting the interest of your own group. I think its a duty for each person to support the interest of their own group. Jane illiot wants whites to think its a crime to support the interest of their own group. She uses bs experiements to fool ppl to accept her beliefs. She is a hypocrite and a liar. That is why i hate her.
