I tried to recover some video files with this program but they dont seem to play because of their format or something theyre mpegs but even vlc wont open them, any help?!

Interesting. I didn't yet complete the instructions they sent me for removing it - I just managed to get it to shut up. I'll run a complete Malwarbyte scan tonight. That program has several tools with it; now I am wondering if it can remove it. The guy that referred me to that program, a guru of sorts, said that it has been able to remove anything he's tried it on.

Yes, that's why I called that one person (below) a "paid shill". He obviously works for them. Still can't figure the live chat.

@TheMrBlinx as i have said on a different site, if it isnt spyware it certainly behaves like spyware. It has proved to be an absolute nightmare for many peoples machines. i removed it over 12months ago and up to two weeks ago Paretologic informed me that the 'Download was successful' so they still have some form of access to my pc. there are people writing that they are happy with it but they possibly work for them;-(

@brownfaye Thank you! I thought there was something crooked about it. Any idea where it came from? What site, etc? I asked them if it came bundled with something else, they said no (I had recently downloaded something else, a Frostwire update) that had several "parts". So, why does a virus maker have live online support chat? Can't figure that part out.

@TheMrBlinx it is a virus, it got on my pc without me even putting it there, then gave me absolute hell to remove. when i finally got this damn thing off my computer paretologic pops up, a download bar runs across the box then says download succcessful. so even after removal it can still mess up your pc.
