You know what eelzen, you have your point of view and I have mine. It was totally wrong of me to get caught up in our political differences and call you pejorative terms like "liberal" and "loser". Please accept my apology. We're all people and have different opinions ... I shouldn't have taken it to that level. Again, I apologize.

Bottom line - President GW Bush was a failure who left us with two unfinished wars and a falling economy. It's neither conservative or liberal to pretend otherwise - it's just weird.

Don't underestimate the majority of voting Americans who saw through the Fox News propaganda network and voted for real change instead of Hillary or McCain.

Our town also voted out the past administration. The newest revolt is about the continued spending of Congress. Most people want both Parties thrown out.
Don't underestimate a grassroots movement, in spite of how the networks try to paint it.

Bottom line, Dems were talking about how dangerous Sadam was, that he had WMD and he must be stopped. 39% of Dems voted "aye" in the House and 58% in the Senate ... without their support, it would have never passed.
Also, your off by one ... the resolution passed in the House by a vote of 297 to 133 ... but leave it to you to try to take it down by 1 ... loser. Also, your stats are off ... the House vote was 297 to 133.

FYI - the vote on Joint Resolution 114 passed the Senate by a vote of 77 to 23, and the House of Representatives by a vote of 296 to 133.
In the Senate one Republican voted no. Six House Republicans and one independent joined 126 Democrats in voting no. But the final decision to invade up to President GW Bush. Bush made the decision for the unprovoked use of force against Iraq. Do you believe in accountability or BS? I can't tell.
