I don't know what difficulty you're playing this on, but I'm playing on hard and I don't remember those water creatures being so easy to kill. I've used rockets, the M4, sachets, grenades...anything but the knife basically and it's near impossible to kill them that way without being butchered first. :S It's possible but not really worth it as you'll be wasting ammo. Best bet is too quickly swim past I found.

@Smurfster1 u can kill the Ichthyosaur easy whit a knife lol thats a bug just 3 or 4 slices whit knife and ichy is dead XD i found that in coop mod
