if anything supports 3D, it will support depth and pop-out. I would much rather Nintendo set up an exchange program should they release a 3DS with upgraded hardware. And yes, the sweet spot is my main complaint, in Ocarina of Time 3D, closer objects are fine, but once you objects that are farther away, I see a clear double-imaging effect in my left eye, guess it could be stronger. That is my only complaint with it other than the battery life.

7:08 I live in Canada and have over 70 Streetpasses. I never have cheated and used a Streetpass group. I bring it everywhere I go, and eventually, I find people.

8:00 the battery is good enough for me. I've heard you can buy better batteries but they aren't as reliable.

5:03 There are certain times when you are not allowed to access the HOME menu, e.g. majority of the EShop does not allow you to access the home menu. Most people also don't know that from here you can access a built in instruction manual for just about any game.

1:36 Unfortunately, the cameras are only 720:480 (strange aspect ratio of 3:2) and you can't easily export photos and videos to red/blue 3d without using softwares like Stereophoto/movie maker.

2:39 Note that the 3d does not pop out of the screen, but rather, add depth to make it as if the stuff inside is going out through the back.

3:03 Turn that down! 3d effect doesn't work on cameras (except for Fujifilm cameras, that's a different story).

Vita comes out tomorrow. Glad I ain't getting that. 3ds is going to be more succesful. Go to a random person who knows about games they'll know what 3ds is and ask them about Vita and they'll be like "what's that?"
