Port Credit native Able Seaman Andy Irwin was on the HMCS Algonquin, a Royal Canadian Navy destroyer that participated in the Invasion of Normandy.
In time for Remembrance Day, this video gives us all a heartfelt view into the story of a navy war veteran, and reminds us how important it is to show appreciation for all who fought bravely for our freedoms.
