liked the lateral snaches with rotational clean. are there any rotational or lateral variations of the kb clean & jerk?

Watch the knees is right, I smacked my knee doing rotational cleans the first time!

Oops. The trick is, on any lateral swing, with clubs or KB's is to not squat until AFTER the arm has past the knees. This makes of a more explosive movement, since the absorption and change of direction happen quicker.

It's best to practice them first as just a lateral swing, eventually turning it into a snatch. Then, if you want the odd directional switch, add the clean when going the other way. WATCH THE KNEES. Timing is everything
