he might be good enough for your national side but he doesn't have much vision, (at the highest level), his passing is average and will not be acceptable at the highest level of the prem but fine at the mid-level of the prem.
he could be a super-sub for you guys, but he is nowhere near his hype for the last few years.
united were spot on when they rejected him.

if he gets to play regular 1st team action in the EPL then he should be a shoe in for the national side.
but i doubt that will happen. the minute phil brown realises he is poor but more importantly he can't bully him, he will drop him to the bench.

how old is that adu lad these day's seem's like he's been around forever,he is playing in a decent league at the minute to learn,because alot of the emphasis in that portugal league is on technical ability,a you said he already has the athlethism now all he need's is the technique,he need's to go to england or spain though or even just get back in the benfica squad cause they aint bad to be in your national team,or be best mates wit landon donavan :D
