QuakeCon: North America's Biggest LAN Party

From its humble beginnings, Quakecon now hosts the largest LAN party in North America. It's still a grassroots event with free BYOC for 72 hours of play. But the systems are anything but humble. You'll see systems that are tweaked to the highest resolution and the highest frame rate possible. It's almost like drag racing your PC, as gamers push to the point that it will blow up if pushed any further.

The event is still support by volunteers but it has grown into the largest LAN party in North America.
