  • Hey your tank looks really good.

Go look at my Planted aquarium video. I am going to just make my own Co2. Will this little thing cover the whole tank?

Does it have good results? How much is the airstone?

Sorry for all the Q's, I am just a noob to the planted aquariums, and tell me if I planted anything wrong in that video, thanks! (:

  • On this tank i have a pressurized co2 system so i dont have to worry about low co2 levels. For a tank this size i wouldnt really recommend a DIY co2 setup since it wont be enough, if you have a good light (2wpg+) you will start seeing algae grow instead of the plants.

The limewood airstone was about $1-2 and it does diffuse the co2 good by giving tiny tiny bubbles, its similar to a glass diffuser.

Ill be sure to check out your videos.

Thanks for Comment and Happy New Year

  • @ura718 How much is a pressurized Co2 system?

    Could I run two or 3 DIY's?

  • pressurized co2 will be about $70 for regulator + $55-100 (depending on co2 cylinder size)

It is a big cost upfront but it will pay off in the end. Ive sold plenty of plants to make up for the system.

U can run 3diy but it still wont be great since the levels will be dropping. Plus now its winter time, the fermentation process is affected by room temperature.

  • damn

  • video shows only half the tank. Can check out my other videos, i had a recent (few months back) update.
