Drill baby drill and deregulation, something of a platform of Republicans, turned out to be tragic with regard to the Gulf BP disaster. Maybe this is what it will take to get the public to pay attention to the fact that a lot of the Bush policies remain in the Obama administration.

GREENLAND GLACIER SLIDE speeds 220 percent in summer

A glacier in Greenland slides up to 220 percent faster toward the sea in summer than in winter and global warming could mean a wider acceleration that would raise sea levels, according to a study published Sunday.

I want a warm earth. We could grow more food and we could wear less clothes. There are many advantages to a warmer earth. Tropical fruits could be grown in more area's providing vast amounts of inexpensive food. An ice free North pole would provide greater commerce with less hazards. Greenland could become one big garden, just think of the possibilities. We could have so many wonderful things if the earth was warmer. So I am going to do my part and fire up my 1968 pickup and burn a bunch of gas.

Christ almighty, think where America would have been with this man instead of the dark lords. Talk about the butterfly effect. The desicion to stop the recounting of those last votes in 2000 proved to be a disaster of monumental proportions. To compare the difference in intelligence, eloquence and judgement between Gore and dimWit is like comparing a heap of gold and a pile of dung. One good thing can come out of it though: that America reexamine itself to become stronger and better as a nation.

The approach of the global warming deniers is to misuse data and mislead people.

Why would anyone take global warming deniers seriously at all?

Perhaps when Al Gore and the other profiteering scaremongers start to act like there is a crisis, then a few people will believe them.

Firstly, are you a scientist? If not, let me inform you that 90% of scientists agree with the notion of MMGW

Secondly, their is a clear trend of rising temperatures in the world this Century. Scientists don't think on such short scales as 10 years because of Statistics. If you flip a coin 4 times, their is a good probability you don't get 2 heads and 2 tails. If you flip it 10k times, you will most definitely move within the true ratio.

I will take the data of 100 years over 10
