@cholulasaucehot1 well....I don't know if it's the Mexicans who are stupid or the person who wrote the story line. That was back in a time when the gold standard was either still in effect or it wasn't that long ago when gold coins were used. Also, gold dust and nuggets shine yellow and it's pretty obvious it's gold. So someone here, as you say, is an idiot

@inkey2 mexicans are stupid..thats why to this day they sneak over the border and wash our dishes...mexico is a big place, but u wont see to many colleges...or shools for that matter

@inkey2 if i remember, in the movie the banditos thought it was bags of sand to weigh down the stuff on the mules....thats it.
