To fill the widescreen, export at a minimum of 640x360. If you want to take advantage of the 720 HD quality, export at a minimum of 1280x720. I recommend using the H.264 compression method at max settings.

  • I just uploaded a 16:9 video I made on windows movie maker but in youtube it doesn't look like a wide screen video, the file is 720 by 480.

    what shoud I do?

    shoud I save it as a AVI or as WMV??? please help thanks!! :)

  • i use 16:9 then it says recommended 1280 * 720 i put it then youtube screen still has black lines

  • Uhm.. this video is wrong~ It's 640x360, YouTube didn't change it ^^' & HQ is 1280x720, & finally HD is 1920x1080
