all we are doing is poking the hornets nest, we need to leave now or be responsible for more of our soldiers' deaths.
i agree with you but the only problem with just taking the troops home right away is that many victims parents will flip out and want to know what their son/daughter or relative died for with nothing being accomplished...they prolly dont see it the way we do..
well put, i think it would be the greatest tragedy of pulling out, whilst it is the best thing to do, it would be finally admitting that many soldiers died for nothing. They died fighting for what they believed in, which i suppose is all that matters, but for those of us watching from the sidelines and the families it would be both a massive relief and a terrible day.
however i would rather that than lose any more of our soldiers, letting them die now is just a tragedy.

personally i dont think there is one, the people fighitng now are the men and women who have lost everything because of our presence, their homes and families.
If anything our presence is making things far worse, i cant help but feel we may have come to a resolve long before now if we had just left after ousting Sadam.
mixed, evidently the victim of bad press, there are many Americans who hate the war, same in the UK. However the US is a country built on warfare, more or less since its formation it has been in some sort of conflict which, as Ron Paul says, is not what their forefathers wanted.
