This song is crazy. Having the mermaid - Yuyi, cross dressers, alter egos, bondage, love, sacrifice, corn fields, crazy scientists, torture, pain, rock and roll, country, pianos, guitars, vocals. Ok, that's the mother monster Lady Gaga for you.

I had always thought that Bad Romance was her best piece. But this one "You And I" is by far, the BEST ever. Especially when the chorus sets, you just wanna clap and dance to it. Oh how liberating!!

I love her. Her quirkiness, her peculiarities, and her brilliance. Gaga! :)

@DisneyVintage I agree. She's definitely not the average artist and there's a long way to go for her. But how she started off, being a steep ascend to the top, means that she has to keep that momentum for long. I just wonder how long that would be, before the next hype might take over her. I'm happy for her for now, and to be honest, I'm generally fine with her albums. They've got good materials, just that for me, I can't listen to it the whole night unless I'm binging on alcohol lol.

@DisneyVintage I do actually, I think she's a true ARTIST in all its meanings ... Sad that lots of people see her only as a manufactured product ... I mean, I saw her during the Monster Ball Tour, and she just sat on the piano and played with no artifices, just her voice and her piano and it was just wonderful ! (however - don't hit me- this Album overall was kind of a let down for me ..)

I don't know, I don't see the scenes where she's on the wooden table with electricity shocks as torture, more of an attempt of "activating" the legs that her lover put on her, so that they may be together ... I loved they video anyway (what's with the ice cream man, though o_O )
