A quick video of a normal boring evening ride. Tested using a FlyCamOne as a helmetcam.
The camera was designed for fitting on model cars or airplanes hence being very small and relatively cheap. Fitting it to the helmet proved surprisingly easy. I added a little velcro to the camera back, and it attached to the padding above my right ear inside the helmet. The helmet used here is not a fullface, so there is alot of windnoise. I will try to cover the mic-hole on the camera with some foam. This should remove some windnoise.

  • Easy for me. I just added some velcro to the camera - and attached it to the padding between my cheek and the side of the helmet. You may not be that lucky ;-)

  • Cool, fresh idea to use the Flycamone for. In almost all the other videos on YouTube it's used for R/C purposes. I'm planning on buying the Flycamone2 and attach it to the hood of my car pointing at the wind screen

  • Wind is a big issues for the sound (on Flycamone). Putting some foam/sponge in front of the mic, helps i little.
