All I can say is there was a whole lot of "stupid" going on that nigh--beyond the criminal activity-- not talking about people who were making a stand, putting themselves in harms way to try and stop idiots, but about those who were just "hanging around" and egging on those too stupid or drunk to behave in a rational manner. Do you think you are "less guilty" because "you didn't DO anything, just laughed or took pictures of yourself and friends in front of riot police or burning vehicles???

@mimamagyar from a legal standpoint they are less guilty because they did not commit any crimes. I do see where you are coming from though and that is why I got out of there when the police asked me to leave.

How did Vancover Police earn so much respect from this yet other Police forces lose public support after riots?

@Bluefox202 It might have to do with the fact that they blocked in the crowd but did not run in swinging and beating everyone they saw which is usually the typical police behavior during a riot.

Does anyone know who the guy is at 5:50 trying to stop what is happening at the Hudson Bay store? That guy has guts. I'd like to track him down and talk with him.
