Celebrating Diversity and Pluralism - Mumbai Meri Jaan

These days, there are nameless pressures from many quarters of society to fall in line with monolithic ways of thinking and cultural practicing that acts as a barricade for democratic functioning. When people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds come together, they form a beautiful mosaic and people find a platform to exchange cultural expressions that in the long run would wean off the prejudices and triumph over the 'Us' and 'Them' rhetoric.
Mumbai Meri Jaan was the capturing of a consortium of artists and intellectuals who had come together to spread the message of communal harmony and peace in keeping with the spirit of a cosmopolitan and multiethnic Mumbai.
