however there are alot of producer's these days that just use other musician's kits, which to me is bullshit. You are using someonelse's kit, which will result in very unoriginal beats, that's why there are alot of carbon copies out there. 3 6 for example use original shit.

Alright, let me clear things up for everyone since noone understands this video.

Samples are sounds that are taken from other musician's music, these samples are used to create their own drum kits, the drum kits are used to make bangin' tracks that you hear from the 3 6 aight? Musicians usually go to record stores and spend hours listening to vinyls for sounds they like, and then use them. EVERY well known hip-hop producer does this.
