I also have a brompton and a few bike Friday folding bikes as well. I would recommend the brompton, then the Dahon speed TR if after a folder and or a folding tourer bike. I would not recommend the bike Friday bikes. They never pay any attention to quality control and are rubbish quality. I regret getting my bike Friday Tikit and pocket llama. The brompton is the best for touring and commuting.

Yes. I currently have them removed for just riding about. I only put them on when going touring. It's a great bike.

@daveym0707 I cant compare like u cos I only got a Brompy, but the fast forl is a great thing if u are late for a bus or train. Would u say the 20" wheel of the other bikes rides better than the 16" of the B? I wish the B had room for wider tyres!
