  • Fella's, just to offer you a tip, used motor oil has carcinogens in it, (cancer causing agents), and it's not a good idea to get that on your skin. A box of 50 latex rubber mechanics gloves is only about $5. Very inexpensive way to help prevent cancer. :) Good choice of oil by the way. AMSOIL saves motorists money, so it's not expensive at all, quite the opposite. :)

  • @eastyg ...used motor oil, is a good thin, not bad. God bless.

  • what size is the oil drain cap in your scooter

  • My Vino 125 is a 2009 and the side oil bolt is 12 mm. and the bottom plug is 19 mm. Strange they would use different oil plugs.

  • @eastyg - With the nasty, uncalled for comment you made, sure seems like you were having a bad day and it seems to be continuing. Again, sorry. Books are great, as you can learn anything from a book. Be that as it may, I have been professionally employed in the automotive industry and synthetic oil industry for the past 25+ years. That might qualify as a tad bit more than just book knowledge.

Preventing cancer/saving someone's by letting them know about the toxic hazards of used motor...

  • @HiTechOilCo I'm not having a bad day. I think you should just get your head out of a book and do some work instead of just looking at things people are doing wrong

  • @eastyg - Sorry your'e having a bad day. God bless.

  • @HiTechOilCo cancer causing agents if you inhale, ingest them. Idiot, everything is proven to cause cancer.

  • so far so good, except you forgot to change the oil filter

  • man.. I am dizzy from watching the video.. too shaking ahh :(

  • Mechanic James i think you intalled your filter/strainer up side down its not filtering anything the way you installed it. The spring end goes on the drain cap the opening end of the filter/strainer goes up in the motor.

  • thats not cylinder as in where the piston is... its cylinder head, its a 4-stroke it has valves and there pouring it into the valve cover, just like a car

  • You pour the oil directly into the cylinder? The heck? The piston rings are there to sweep the oil -out- of the combustion chamber.. so why do you have to pour it -into- said chamber?? You'd think the oil inlet would be a separate pipe that leads directly to the oil pan! Also it looks like a magnetic screwdriver would be helpful with at least the top panel screws. Otherwise, informative video, thanks guys!

  • sir my scooter had its drain bolt all snagged up and doesnt bugge at all...iam afraid it can be damaged as it is by now...what can you suggest that will help me remove that bolt without damaging the bolts thread and the bolt itself??tnks...

  • The strainer was installed incorrectly. The spring is installed next to the drain bolt then the strainer. See the Vino owners manual breakdown.
