Pediatric Quad Canes are very beneficial when it comes to therapy for children with Cerebral Palsy.

Physical Therapist, Megan Smith, whose daughter, Sophia, has CP, tells us that Sophia loves them because they stand up by themselves and when she lets go they don't fall to the floor. The stability and the fact that they are height adjustable are advantages but these quad canes also promote a more normal gait pattern. When children use a walker both arms stay stationary. When they use the Pediatric Quad Canes they can manipulate their movements better and they can fit into smaller spaces (ie. classroom, bathroom, etc.).

In this video, Sophia's father, Occupational Therapist, Hulet Smith, demonstrates and discusses pediatric quad canes.
