Sounds and looks like Polish folk...

I am Marchigiano, from a town that practically borders L'abruzzo. The demise of the various provincial languages in Le Marche grieves me for as la lingua antica dissapears, so does tradition and Identity. The word "dialect" has taken on negative connotations although , as I've stated, they are actually Languages that pre date Modern Italian. All who speak their regional language and maintain their provincial customs should feel proud for theirin lies the authentic and eternal self.

Studioso, Ive read your comments and your right, Northern Italians (depending on their geographical location) do have a hefty dose of Celtic Blood as all modern Europeans have a common neolithic ancestor. But what I wanted to draw attention to was your usage of the term "dialect" when referring to that which you speak at home. The so called numerous "dialects" of Italy are more appropriately referred to as provincial languages for most were spoken before modern Italian.

OK sorry! Celtic music refers to the music of the Celts or their modern descendants in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Brittany, the Isle of Man, Cornwall, Galicia, Asturia, Piemonte, and Emilia-Romagna. Celtic music has lots of bagpipe not to mention fiddle. Why you have to take it so offensively? I didn't even mention the fact that they may have been descended from Baroque music, but you're acting like I denied it.

I'm sorry! I'm 15 years old! I speak Abruzzese Molise dialect at home but I'm taking Italian at school! I now know the stupid mistake I did with my username: "il studioso" is supposed to be "lo studioso". But it's not like this music has no connections to Celtic music at all! I mean look at the similarities not the differences!

meno male che ti chiami Il studioso: se già così spari queste cagate chissà se ti chiamavi l'Ignorantone... avresti detto che anche Bin Laden è celtico, si capisce perchè è alto

What do You call "Celtic music"??? Folk music from Ireland and Scotland ? If Yes, also this music has its origins in European Renaissance music from the 16/17th centuries, mediaval or even pre-Christian music does not exist any more ! Terence Carolan, Irelands most known musician, was a student of Arcangelo Corelli. And "celtic", Scottish, American fiddling has its roots in baroque fiddling like Vivaldi and other composers of this time !
this is filmed in the countryside near Fabriano (Marche). These fiddlers are gone now, so it is a rare document of the old music of the area, now disappeared
