We need to get out of everyone's business. But I really don't think if we give Afghanistan back to the Taliban that the terror will stop. Hell no. In fact it will bolster their resolve to kill you. What you propose is to give them a mandate from heaven. Think about that.

How about the U.S. spend some of those billions of dollars to put in video surveillance everywhere? Disguise the cameras as rocks so the enemy cannot find them. Put them ontop of hills so can see a long way.
