Hmm if he's crazy as hell then it wouldn't be a good idea. The car is easy to tip over and easy to lose control. Or you could just make it slow then he'd be fine.

Is it for an adult to kid? The kettcar is not a good format for building a go kart. I found that out later on. For kids, it'll be ok if you make it slow. Because of the frame design and how weak it is, the kettcar is very unstable when turning and steering is hard to control. Don't know if I'll make vids on how to make it but maybe I'll post closeup pics of what it looks like now so you cann get an idea of building some of the back end to support the motor and mods.
