  • dear Music Mike,

thank you for uploading all these great but "you had to be there" obscure songs.

I'm from Rochester NY and I remember this song and "livin in the USA" by wilmer &

    the dukes

  • @ArniepII Glen Park is still there and is now a Williamsville municipal park. I went there when I was a little kid in the early 1950s. It still had five cent rides at least until 1970, maybe longer.

  • I used to hang out at The Inferno back in the 1960s and loved Wilmer. Every time they covered 'Reach Out' Wilmer had people up on the tables. I'd bet I'm the only person around today who can remember the name of the one-hit wonder internationally known band that played The Inferno on the Sunday night before it burned down on a Monday morning.

  • @joeycmusic -If you want the CD, go on eBay and type in - Wilmer and The Dukes Cd Rare.

    I already have it.

  • @joeycmusic - I just saw this CD on eBay.
