We got to dinner late and everyone else was already eating. I wanted to sit near some of the girls and make new friends but Ryan waved down Di and we walked over and sat down. There were no girls sitting next to any boy and the girls all stared at us. I felt like saying, "I'm not normally this person. It's Di I swear but I kept my mouth shut and sat next to D who was sitting in front of Ryan. They started flirting right off the bat and I suddenly lost my appetite. After playing with my food for what seemed like a week Justin sat next to Ryan and in front of me. "Hey there." he said in a sing-song voice. I looked up and thanked God for someone so kind to talk to. "Oh my god, thank you for saving me. Again." "I'd do anything for a pretty girl." I found my myself blushing, smiling and giggling at the same time. And I'm not a giggler. "Thank you." I somehow managed to remember my manners. "So where are you from?" he asked before biting into his burger." "I'm from Charlotte. What about you?" "I don't live too far from there, I live in Colombia, South Carolina." "Oh that's about an hour from Charlotte." I said with a smile. "It's more like 3 and a half." Justin said, with a cutesy smile "Ooh, well whatever." I blushed, the heat rose to my face and my heart melted into liquid. I watched as he ate and I began to eat a little more as well.

We had a cabin with 8 people in it And no adult, that's how all the cabin were. Although they had warned us there were watchmen walking all night so they would know if we left our cabin. "I'm Jenna." A short blonde girl that was wearing too much makeup and too little clothing said to me as we started to form a little group in our cabin. "Hey Jenna. I'm Diana, but you can call me D." "Cool. " Jenna replied. I was painting D's nails a bright orange as she requested. Apparently that was Ryan's favorite color. I had never seen my best friend over a guy like she was now. It was werid, normally guys were all over her. "So what's up with you and Ryan?" Jenna asked randomly. "Nothing, he's a nice guy. That's all." D said, playing it down. If D was anything, she was street smart. Don't spill your secrets until you know someone's intentions. "Yeah Ryan is pretty nice, after he gets what he wants." Jenna said, she mumbled a goodbye and walked away.
"What the fuck was that all about?" Di said to me when it we were alone in bed. "She's just a jealous prick. Don't worry." My bunk and Di's were right next to each other on the bottom bunk. The girl who's bunk was on top of mine looked down on us and said, "No, Jenna and Ryan are friends. Family friends though. But she's always flirting with him." "Oh, okay." Diana breathed calming down a little. I heard her shuffling in her blankets, was she really going to sleep? I decided to call my mom and then talk to her. I went out on our cabin porch and dialed my moms number, she didn't answer so I left a voicemail. As I was about to go inside I heard shuffling and I saw a fuzzy figure in the darkness. I quickly ran inside, locked the door and shuffled to my bunk.

The Next Morning
Justin;
We were in same auditorium again, waiting for the girls again. As we waited I rubbed my eyes and tried to convince myself not to fall back to sleep. We stayed up the whole night, talking walking around the campgrounds and pulling pranks. We finally snuck back in around 3am. Now it was about 8am and my head has suddenly become too heavy for my body. The girls finally came in and my heart fluttered when I saw Sophie. She looked pretty tired as well, but somehow she made it look hot. Jenna waved to Ry with a smile and he simply rasied his hand back up and grinned. I looked over to see Jenna's reaction when I noticed Diana behind her, boiling. "Uh, dude.."I started to say, right when one of the camp leaders stood up and said, "Alright, we will be serving breakfast, I'll allow everyone to go to their cabins and grab your hiking gear and change. Then we will start hiking in groups of 4 to 5. Alright?" There was a loud chorus of sounds of approval.
Me and Ryan stood up in unison and walked to the breakfast line. We were one of the first so I decided to tell him. "Dude, I think that that Diana girl has a crush on you. " "Who doesn't?" I was about to explain to him about how deadly his current problem was but as the line slowly got us closer to the food there was nothing on my mind other than: savaging.
